AWS Community Day Aotearoa is an annual one-day, user-run single-day AWS technical conference that is planned, organized, and delivered by the AWS user group community leaders (much like a “Meetup of Meetups”). The goal of the Community Day is to facilitate the exchange of information amongst the AWS user community. The presentations are all given by speakers who are fellow AWS users sharing knowledge with their peers.
We firmly believe in the value and importance of an environment where all AWS Community Day participants feel welcome and safe. The purpose of our AWS events is to foster exchange of technical knowledge and encourage community discussion and participation. The terms of this Code of Conduct are non-negotiable and behavior that runs counter to it will not be tolerated. By attending this event, you agree to respect and follow these rules.
We expect the following from all participants (including AWS employees, attendees, vendors, sponsors, speakers, volunteers, and guests):
If a participant engages in inappropriate behavior, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please report it to an organizer immediately.
In short, let's be excellent to each other!
This code of conduct was adapted from the AWS Community Code of Conduct.
